Oil on canvas board 12 x 16"  I love spring flowers and always have posies on my kitchen table.  Since a girl I have identified and learnt characteristics of wild flowers in the hedgerow and wayside.  It is not always  that May blossom is out on May Day so this year when I found some in a sheltered warm  corner I felt inspired to paint it.
