This is a memory of an auspicious moment when we set sail for the first time on the boat we had dreamt and built ourselves.  Here is our daughter Lily, aged 6, wearing her favourite hat, looking ahead as we motored out past Dartmouth Castle in Devon on our way to Cornwall.
