February Storm, Dollar Cove
 
This is one of my favourite beaches in Cornwall.  When I first came to Cornwall it was all rocky and a wave cut platform.  It feels like the west coast of Scotland somewhere so that is nice for me to remember those times I lived in the North.  Then the storms will bring the sand and its character changes again.  The sandy cliffs used to be high and our small children used to dangerously titter round the edge.  They are much smaller now but the sand martins still return to nest here. I have so many memories of happy days here.
